Background
Born in a small and isolated farming community to a family of tailors, Tamsin never really fit in with her family. She craved adventure from an early age while her parents wanted her to be more like her older sisters and engage in behaviour more appropriate for a young lady. They attempted to teach her to be delicate and soft spoken, she picked fights and learned to yell louder. Things came to a head one day when her father attempted to betroth her to the son of a family with a higher station than theirs; someone that she knew to personally be repugnant and cruel. She left home that night under cover of darkness and never looked back.

Tamsin made her way to a large port town where she found work as a deckhand upon one of the ships leaving that day and quickly fell in love with life at sea. In the years since she left home she was given a new name by her crew mates who took to calling her Jack. She developed new skills and honed her talents, moving from a simple deckhand to a hearty sailor and finally taking up a position on a private vessel tasked with the dangerous duty of protecting the trade lanes and hunting down various pirate vessels that would loot and plunder the area which has brought her into conflict with all sorts but has also helped her build connections with true and loyal friends and build a found family of her very own.
